Monkey Dunkey Bread

This week the ALPHA BAKERS are baking monkey dunkey bread, it's a Brioche Bread and I love it ,it starters with a dough starter ( sponge ) and then with the final flour blanket mix.

I decide not to make the Dunking Sauce and the not added the chocolate because it would be to sweet .

I decide to make it different,  I made the caramel sauce and roasted Pecan chopped.

Rose you did again! absolutely Delicious! and yes I would make this again indeed..

I love it with the caramel sauce and roasted pecans......
placed the roasted chopped pecans in the bottom of the baking pan and added the caramel sauce and the placed the small balls of brioche dough on top and let it raise for 45 minutes and then bake it in the oven..
Made each of the squares round and closed the end ...
take it out of the fridge and rolled it to a big square and cut the with a blench in 16 pieces..
wrapped the dough in plastic wrap and in a big freezer bag and put it in the fridge for 5 1/2 hours.
now I gave it the second business letter fold...
gave it the first business letter fold..
chill the dough for 30 minutes and degassed it and  rolled it into a big enough square...
it has doubled in size...
placed the dough in the microwave for 2 hours with a cup of hot water
Added the soft butter a tablespoon at a time , until done..
added the 2 cold eggs and mixed it..
added the final flour mix on top of the sponge ,the sponge has broken though the blanket and is ready for the final flour mix...
have ready the final dough mix...
got the sponge ready...
have all of the ingredients ready for the sponge..
                      absolutely Yummy indeed!
