Flaky Cranberry Cream Cheese Scones

These (Flaky Cranberry Cream Cheese Scones) are tender and moist /simply delicious ...
I decided to double the recipe and got 16 scones...
Because cream cheese pie crust is Rose's number pie crust , she thought it would also make a great scones, The result of her experiments is a scone that is soft, and moister, and mellow than the classic scone.

                     simply tender and delicious......
they are so tender and moist indeed and taste good......
placed on the try and ready to bake the first batches...
here I cut them into 8 parts with my blanch scraper...
toke the scone dough out of the fridge and made it 9" by3/4 inch thick....
placed the whipped cream and honey in the center of the well and stir it until all of it was moistened. After I kneaded it on a lightly dust flour counter and divided into two part and flatten them , place in plastic wrap and into the fridge for 30 minutes..
Made a well to put in the lightly whipped cream...
Now stir in the cranberries with a spatula, until all mixed in ...
Added the butter and pressed the butter cubes between my fingers to form very thin flakes.
In a large bowl , whisk together the flour, white sugar, baking powder, salt, and lemon zest and added the cream cheese and kneaded it with a pastry tool , until small peas sizes....
got all of the ingredients ready...
                these are amazingly delicious...

  3. Cranberries sound like a nice idea. If you doubled the dough that's a lot of scones to cook! They look great.
